Walker’s Personal & Ministry Background
Brian Walker is a seventh-generation North Texan. Six generations preceded Brian in Ellis County – the rural county south of Dallas where he grew up. Brian graduated from the same small, public school as his parents – where he served as an FFA officer and rode bulls competitively. In 2015, Brian was the youngest person to ever receive the “Distinguished Alumnus Award” from his high school alma mater. With the exception of one master’s degree, Brian received his other three degrees from schools in Texas. His higher-level education is discussed below.
Brian is a passionate preacher of the Gospel. He has been filling the pulpit for decades. Soon after he fully committed his life to Jesus in 1998, Brian was speaking in various ministries and he became a Youth Pastor at a small local church in Seguin, Texas. Brian ultimately served as a Youth Pastor at two different churches through his college years and for a short time after. Since those early college years, Brian has served as a Sunday School teacher, Elder, Church Planter and Pastor. Prior to the COVID-era, Brian worked as a volunteer lead pastor at a local church in Central Texas for right at two years.

Brian K. Walker Today
Brian K. Walker works and lives in Fort Worth with – who he affectionately calls his “Proverbs 31 Wife” – Kelly, and their children. Brian serves as a Justice on the 2nd Court of Appeals. Seated in Fort Worth, his court presides over about half of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex along with several rural counties west of DFW.
Brian is a prolific writer. He has written screenplays for feature films for several decades. The producer and director of a popular television series – with four full seasons available via Angel Studios – is in the process of developing and co-producing one of those films with Brian’s production company. That film, E-Ville, is a horror/thriller for Christians – “with no sex or cussing” – that delves into the battle between good and evil.
Brian recently just finished writing his first Christian non-fiction book, Boxing God, and he is in the process of getting it published. For more about the book, click on the relevant link at the bottom of the page.
Before Brian took the bench, he founded REACH Mission-Ware, a clothing and goods company that donates 20% of profits to missionaries and evangelists serving around the world. His wife, Kelly, oversees the operations of that business today. For more details about these various enterprises, click on the relevant links at the bottom of the page.
